Where do I pick up my tickets?
Tickets will be held at the door for pick up on the day of the conference.

Where is the conference held?
CBS Studio Center, 4024 Radford Avenue, Studio City, California 91604. Click here for more directions.

When does registration begin?
Registration opens on 11/29/10.

What time does on site registration begin?
Onsite registration begins at 8am along with the full media street fair.

How much does it cost to attend the Biola Media Conference?
Early registration is $135.00 through 1/31/11. General registration is $150.00 from 2/1 – 4/26/11. Registration at the door is $180.00.

Can I get a refund if I am suddenly unable to attend the conference?
If you are unable to attend, please contact us by 3/31/11 to receive a full refund. You may receive half of the ticket price if you contact us by 4/15/11. There is no refund after 4/15/11.

Are tickets transferable?
Yes, substitutions are permitted. Please contact the Biola Media Conference line (http://www.biolamedia.com/contact.shtml) for substitutions. There are no substitutions or changes after 4/25/11.

Are student prices available?
Yes, student rates are available. Please check the registration page on the Biola Media Conference web site.

Is there a Biola student discount?
Yes, special prices are available for students presently enrolled at Biola University. Please register with the Cinema and Media Arts Department to receive the student discount. Do not register online.

Can I sponsor a student?
Yes! Many students cannot afford to attend on their own, but would greatly benefit from the conference. Please contact the Biola Media Conference line for information.

Is there a discount for ministry leaders?
Yes, please call Biola Media Conference line for information.

Are senior discounts available?
Yes, if you are a senior 65 or over, please see the registration page on the Biola Media Conference web site.

Can I volunteer to work for my admission ticket?
Yes, please contact the Biola Media Conference line for information. There are a minimum number of hours for which you must volunteer.

Are Group Rates available?
Groups of 10 or more qualify for group discount rates. Please contact the Biola Media Conference line for more information on group rates.

Does the Biola Media Conference offer University Credits?
Yes. Biola University allows registered Biola students to receive 1 unit as part of the CNMA 470 BMC Seminar course. Contact the Cinema and Media Arts Department for more information.

Do you offer translators for the hearing impaired or foreign language translators?
These services are not available at this time.

Is childcare available?
No, childcare is not available.

Are children allowed or is there an age limit?
Since the conference is designed for professionals working in the media industry, we ask that attendees be at least 12 years of age.

How long is the conference?
Registration opens at 8am and the last session ends at 6pm. The conference is one full day - packed with seminars and information important to your career.

What will the weather be like and what clothing should I wear?
Bring a light jacket or sweater. Mornings and evenings can be cool in the springtime. Wear comfortable shoes because you will be walking to and from the different sessions.

Are we allowed to take still or video pictures?
Personal photography is allowed, however video or audio recording of the conference sessions is strictly prohibited.

Will lunch be provided?
Yes, a full gourmet lunch is included in the price of your ticket as well as a coffee bar, morning pastry bar and an afternoon cookie bar.

Where can I eat dinner after the conference?
There are many restaurants close to the Studio or the hotel. Click on the links to see what’s available.

Where is the airport in relation to the conference?
The Burbank Airport is approximately 6.3 miles and 16 minutes away from the Studios. LAX is approximately 25.8 miles and 33 minutes away from the Studios and driving time could be up to an hour and 36 minutes in traffic.

Are shuttle services available?
There are no shuttle services available from the airport to the CBS Studio Center. Please make your own arrangements. Many rental car agencies are available at the Burbank Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

Where do I stay?
The official host hotel of the Biola Media Conference is the Sheraton Universal Hotel, 333 Universal Hollywood Drive, Universal City, CA 91608. Please check the BMC website for discounted information, or call (818) 980-1212 to make arrangements with the hotel, or visit their web site at www.Sheraton.com/Universal

How do I get to the Studio from the Hotel?
You will need to make your own arrangements from the hotel. There is no shuttle service for the conference. The studio is a 10-minute taxi ride from the hotel.

How do I get a press pass?
If you are a member of the press, a news, video or photo representative, you must be registered as PRESS with the Biola Media Conference. There are a limited amount of press passes. Please contact the Biola Media Conference line to inquire about receiving press credentials.

Will resources be available for purchase at the conference?
Yes, there is a media street fair and many of the speakers have books and other media available for purchase.

Is wireless internet access available?
There is limited amount of access on the New York Street but there is no access on the sound stage or in the workshop rooms.
